Far above advertised CFM, power cord too short, poor cap/latch design, cheap tiny hose. Overall not worth the money. I also bought a Ridgid WD4070 last week which says the airflow is 100cfm. If this shop vac claims 175 CFM, that should be a very noticeable difference. No chance! It's not even close to 175. LOLz. The power cord is too short. Why? But why? The lid latch does not properly lock the top of the jar. So if you're vacuuming sawdust, for example, the lid isn't making proper contact with the container, and you're moving the vacuum, guess what, you now have sawdust out of the container where the lid might meet. . Bad design. A rubber gasket is required to ensure both surfaces are in full contact when the latch is locked. Basic product design. Return to the drawing table. smh I generally leave my Ridgid 4070 - it has a lifetime warranty.
