Review on Sediment Pleated Filter Washable Micron Filtration by Leo Torres

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That's what I needed right now

I can tell a lot about its durability as I only installed it a few weeks ago. However, based on such a brief experience, I can share four points in this review that may help others in deciding whether to buy and use this filter. First, the filter looks good. It just looks and feels like a quality product, and quality can be a good indicator of its reliability. The second is a 4.5" x 20" pleated filter. The pleated filter media offers a much larger filtration area than spin filters, and the larger dimensions mean it does not need to be replaced as often as smaller filters. Third, after replacing the filter, the water pressure has increased greatly. I use well water here in South Florida and in my case the water has to go through two filtration systems before it can be made potable. These systems affect water pressure, so it is important to install the correct sediment filter to minimize water pressure drop. And fourth, the water is cleaner than before the filter change. So it has made a huge difference so far and I have recommended it. Make sure the water pressure is sufficient to ensure the filter is fully flushed. A sediment filter that is too small or wrong can limit the amount and pressure of water to adequately flush the filter media.

Pros
  • Replacement Water Filter
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
