Review on Timex Women's T2H491 Easy Reader Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch - Stylish 25mm Expansion Band by Amber Bennett

Timex Ladies T2H491 Easy Reader Two-Tone

As I am old I cannot wear a watch or bracelet which constricts my wrist because I bruise easily so the length of the bracelet was extremely important to me. I didn't want the bracelet to stretch while it was on my wrist. If the band is loose, it's fine as long as it doesn't pinch my wrist. Most of the time I wear wristwatches in the form of a bracelet, which fit very loosely. At the time of writing, this model (T2H491) is the only Timex model I've been able to find at Revain with a very large extension ring. Other models are very similar but have a shorter stripe. Another type of closure, similar to a folding clip, would also cause problems for my wrist. According to the manufacturer, here are the specs: Band length: 155 mm (6.1024 inches) Case diameter: 25 mm (0.9843 inches) Band width: 12 mm (0.4724 inches) So measure your wrist with a flexible ruler and numbers. The watch will fit a 7.0867 inch wrist (band length + case diameter) with an unstretched strap (which means it won't pinch the skin). This band fit me exactly, no extension. Also, having black hands and numbers was important to me as I don't see as well as I used to and I don't always wear glasses. The date function (which is too small to see with or without glasses) and the seconds hand were of no use to me. The backlight on the Indiglo watch face is a nice feature that I find useful at times, but not always necessary. The finish on my watch, which is not real gold or sterling silver, is either worn or discolored. I hope the finish on this Timex is preserved as all the watches are not stainless steel just the strap. So I was looking for an all-steel watch for everyday use. Another desirable feature is water resistance to a depth of 30 feet (note, however, that this is NOT waterproof). It was delivered on November 20, 2017. I will update this review if anything changes. May 4, 2021: My battery died about 8 months ago and I only got around to replacing it today. Well, no, because the clock didn't need a new battery, it was broken. This watch has never been in contact with water. I changed my rating from 4 to 2 stars. 3-1/2 years is no bargain for Timex. I will not buy Timex again. It was a really good watch while it worked, especially since it had a longer strap.
