I didn't like the old pistol in this photo. Usually when I'm done with this and it cools I just toss it over my head into the hell of tools I have that I turn to often. The tools I have had better hold on 'cause I'm not holding them back. When I got the new one I felt the trigger and it feels the same as my old one I've had for a few years. I'm surprised the old one still works. I bought a new one just because the old one is "lost". Then I found the old one and now I have two of them. Switchable 150 - 300 watts is very good. I warn you if this thing is 300 watts and you're going to spill too much on your skin. it is instant fluff. So be careful. At 300 watts, the adhesive has a much lower viscosity and therefore finer "lines". But it's HOT. *Highly recommended.*
