About the size, my legs are quite narrow and thin; my size is between 5-5.5 US (5 for sandals, pumps; 5.5 for boots to have room for socks). I ran across one reviewer who said "stick to your street size" but I listened to hundreds of others increase their size and ordered a Sansha size 6 which was too big. I returned them for a size 5 Sansha which fits perfectly and has room for the toe of the sneakers. So if you do NOT have skinny legs, you should choose one size up. (Sansha size 5 for me = US size 5.5). I like this model more than other high step models where big heels and toes look too ugly and chunky. AN IMPORTANT NOTE: While these shoes are good for dancing and cardio, I would not recommend them for other fitness activities. I bought them for Zumba classes and I really like them. Laces on the band help wrap your legs comfortably and tightly. I love cardio so I do a lot of high kick jumping and my legs still feel happy. I prefer this type of shoe to any other running shoe (pivot to pivot) because these shoes make me feel taller and they help me shape up. comfortable movements and posture of the dancer. UPDATE: Interesting to know about other Zumba shoes, so after 3 weeks of heavy use of the Blitz 3 I bought a pair of Ryka Influence. Compared to the Blitz 3, the Influence lacks coziness and softness, rather my feet feel surrounded by a hard, cheap sole and wall. For me, Blitz 3 is a REAL dance shoe that you can use to make high jumps. The Influence is just another pair of inexpensive sneakers with a pivot point. Here's my comparison: Soft/Cozy/Slippers = Sansha Blitz 3 High Impact Jumping = Sansha Blitz 3 Balancing on One Leg = Ryka Influence Forming a Nice Straight Posture (Like a Dancer) = Sansha Blitz 3 Wearing a Date = Ryka Influence Wearing all day at the gym = Ryka InfluenceWear all day at home = Sansha Blitz 3 Since my feet love to dance, Blitz 3 gives them a lot of fun. So if you're not exactly into dancing but are eclectic and classy, Influence is a winner.
