Review on EDI D16050 Plastic Storage Containers by Brad King

We use 8 oz, 16 oz and 32 oz; I've been using them for over a year now. They are cool! We use them to cook all kinds of foods and freeze them or keep them in the fridge or store leftovers and they stack up so neatly and easily; also saves space. Talk about saving space; That's all we need for all of our food storage needs. So happy to get rid of all those weird shapes and sizes of other storage containers; I couldn't find a suitable cover. The beauty of these containers is that they all use the same size lid. It is very easy to store containers even if they are of different sizes; they all have the same diameter. Dishwasher and microwave too. One more thing. they actually seal and remain sealed. We no longer preserve our jams in jars; Now we only make jam from the freezer or the fridge. slightly smaller batches, but who needs jam that keeps for years? We cleaned out two kitchen cupboards that used to be full to the brim with all sorts of storage containers and lids. There was even an overflow in the garage and closet. threw everything away and smiled all the time. What a problem to get rid of completely; how cute it is. another life turmoil that's over. I mentioned that we love these things. Can't recommend it more. A word of caution when reheating in the microwave. Microwaving them will make them more flexible, especially on top, so be sure to grip them at the bottom and NOT the top. The top is so flexible when hot that it cannot withstand finger pressure, especially when filled with hot liquid. Of course they will be hot, like most things that get microwaved. So be sure to use a "hot glove" or towel cup to pick them up (again, from the bottom), or better yet, do what we do and set the container on top of a paper plate when you put it in the set the microwave. makes it much easier to handle microwavable containers, especially flexible ones like this one.
