Inconsistent banana connectors

For $13 for the 3 foot cable this is a great value. Unfortunately the banana plugs did not match on the pair I ordered. Also the caps would frequently loosen when handling the cables.I ended up purchasing the amazon cables. Those were 16 gauge , but not an issue at 3 feet .I am using these cables to connect a wall plate to a bluetooth amplifier
