Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ SCOSCHE PBJQC PowerUp QuickConnect: Battery Jumper Leads with Trickle Charger for Cars, Trucks, & Motorcycles by Brandon Frogge

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Loved it but not good

Edit: PERFECTLY used only 10 times and no longer charging 1. Blue light. Since Ingot it has never charged to 4 full blue lights, once in BLUEMOON it was but shortly after removing the charger it dropped to the 3rd blue light. This actually saved me a couple of times, but unfortunately it looks like I got one with a bad cell. Also, I think these power banks should come with a special charger for the MAIN way of charging/trusting the cell phone adapter and USB power cord, it's like cutting corners. Of course add one for use in the VEHICLE but not the MAIN CHARGE SOURCE. I wrote to Shohe I doubt they will do anything maybe I still have 1 month warranty according to them / I will contact Revain even if the 30 day return is overdue, sometimes the agent is kind enough to help . If you buy this and there is a problem for ANY REASON, SEND IT BACK! The amount of amps for the price is insane, a little less, I found one with 3x boost, also it charges slightly larger motors, although I only have a 2013 Honda Accord. Thousands of people posted online on YT that these cars don't turn blue in time for no reason. Sometimes you can leave it alone, secure it a little and it will start, Honda can't reproduce the problem (so they say) but they did a 2013 recall on a V6 that has the same problems. Other people with the same car model were in a dilemma, so for Christmas 2018 I got a huge discount on a power bank Schoche Jumper (usually $70) with my rebate and promo credits, I ended up only paying $23. (Maybe they sent me a refrab because I got lost) TackLife T6, looks like I'll order there. It's reassuring to have this in the car for me or my 63 year old dad. Delivery was slow. About 12 days from Worlds to Euros Revain Logistic delivered and to my surprise it was on a Sunday. The product was the same as described. Works well as a USB charger and flashlight. Haven't used it to jump yet. The only thing that bothers me and the reason I left 4 stars is that when I took it out of the box it was already half charged, I plugged it in to charge the rest and it got about 3 took hours. However, it is fully charged and appears to be charged but the other owner said in the comments that I should return it to someone else who has done the same. I'll speak to the seller and see what they say. I want to use most of the power, charge and see if it does that again. Everything and everything seems fine at the moment except for the loading time as I mentioned. EDIT: Saved me about 5 times now. I have a 2013 Honda and sometimes out of the blue when I push the PushStart button it won't start. The battery is OK, the alternator is OK. A lot of people seem to have problems with this model. However, I always keep a SCOSCHE PBJ300 in my car and as soon as I plug it in I let it sit for a second and it starts every time. My only problem is that I'm pretty sure the 4th cell is dead or useless. Each blue indicator (4 together) will flash while charging, then move on to the next. When it came to the last one, I literally had to let it charge overnight before it finally kicked off. The other 3 are good, as long as it keeps working when needed I'm happy. I got it for about $45 because of some Revain credits I had at the time. It was supposed to charge MUCH faster and I knew that from the day I got it but when I mentioned something to the seller they told me to run the warranty. while they have mine just in case my car plays up again. I plan to buy a better one with more juice to run big engines. It's better to have more juice than not getting enough of those situations that can happen. Update: The device is basically completely finished. I've only used it to start my Honda Accord 2013 EX from time to time. Thousands of people are having problems with their 2013 accords, not cracks, and there's no real reason for it. Some say "buy a slightly bigger battery.โ€ โ€ another person on YT, mentions Pushsstart needs to be replaced with something more powerful, I'm not very mechanically inclined to remember exactly what he was talking about. Many, MANY deals from 2013 have this problem, but the dealer cannot repeat it. Anyway to the point. When I bought it I had to send it back ASAP! The fourth light took almost a day to indicate a full charge. Then they would die out FAST! DOWN to 3 lights. The PSU was my quick fix when my Honda wouldn't start. He did what he was supposed to do about 10 times. Definitely redemption. Well a few days ago I was sick and didn't start my car in 4 days? When I took the charger in the car it came on completely with 3 lights. It started but when I brought it back I noticed all the lights were exhausted. Tried charging for 3 days. Just to get it to the 2nd flashing light. I'm probably out of warranty, but I'll contact them. I've been in touch with them since the day he told them it took a day to charge the last cell, which was wrong. good charger/jumper but there are much better options out there with more power for less and they are three times as powerful as this one. Just because of the need to use it about 10 times (maybe) in a year or so. I don't consider it good quality. I just bought TackLife T6. Just arrived today and thankfully I love that it comes with a charger made just for TackLife and not just "ANY PHONE CHARGER". Please IF YOU BUY THIS, MAKE SURE IT IS FULLY CHARGED! At this point I suggest using a different power supply/jumper/charger. Soon I will leave my review on TACKLIFE T6.
