S2 package arrived in good condition. The camera's long cable connection is small enough that I can easily use heat shrink tubing to make a secure and watertight connection. I believe the connection would be waterproof without the heat shrink tubing, but I like the added security. The plugs are quite small so you must be careful to align the arrows on each end to avoid damaging the wires inside the plug end. I used an old analog TV to capture the camera's output, so the rear camera's picture quality doesn't adequately reflect the quality of the real display. The camera has a pretty wide field of view, as you can see. I tried to stay away from the painting, but I couldn't. The fourth picture I uploaded showed the TV and the rear camera on. The fifth photo I uploaded was taken at night with the dining room lights on (the equivalent of a 75w CFC bulb). The sixth photo I uploaded was in total darkness in a room about 15 feet deep. All photos are taken indoors. I didn't take any pictures outside. As a reversing camera, it seems to do its job quite well. The picture is very clear. Keep in mind that rear cameras are designed to give a wide field of view so you can avoid colliding with other objects, and the S2 does just that. I have a topper on my full-size truck so it's difficult is to see behind the truck and it is difficult to judge the distance to nearby objects. I look forward to installing this thing.
