So far, so good - the pump appears reliable at 3k miles.
Quick cure to the common failure of the Prius inverter coolant pump. Have about 3k miles on it and it continues to function as new. Not much else to say - ease/difficulty of install is not related to the pump, more to your mechanical prowess.
- Helps maintain optimal engine temperature for improved fuel efficiency
- May not be effective in cooling the engine
