Be sure to choose the right one for your needs!

We just installed them. I'm only giving this four stars because, as mentioned before, it's a PAIN to install. The instructions don't help. I've read that someone made them work by pushing them farther forward, but ours was different. We mounted it on a heavy wooden coffee table that opens on both sides because our kids keep their toys on it and we didn't want them to pinch their fingers. After a lot of trial and error, we successfully installed them, and they do exactly what we need - slowly close the door so it doesn't slam. I wish I had words to help set this up, but I really think it depends on the specifics of what you're attaching it to. A note I had a hard time understanding because I needed this for both ends of the coffee table. I bought a "four pack" which was an option on the listing. We tried to install them and in the end it turned out that the door opened more easily, but closed with full force. After looking at other pictures in the reviews, I realized that the product that comes in a pack of four is actually intended for a different purpose - like opening a cupboard that opens. I ended up buying two sets of two and they worked for what I needed. Although the twin pack says 'soft close' I assumed it was the same product after seeing other listings in the same way. I really think it should be two completely separate lists to avoid confusion.
