A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!
The last mercury thermometer was damaged, had to be thrown away, and new ones are no longer sold. For a long time I had to use electronic. But they do not inspire confidence at all, they show some kind of temperature "from the ceiling" all the time. I bought this for insurance and am completely satisfied. : I did not find any problems with shaking, it is no different from ordinary mercury.
