This set makes a great birthday or newborn gift. Includes 8 adorable teethers/rattles. These are very bright colors - mostly primary colors - so they are great for both a boy and a girl. What sets this set apart from most is the small phone. Runs on 3 AAA batteries (not included) and plays lots of songs. It has many buttons to keep the child's attention. I also really like that this whole set comes in a small clear plastic box with a storage handle. Toddlers pick up a lot of toys a lot quicker than you might think, so having a place to put things to keep them organized is not only very, very useful, but a great way to give them (very little ones) that there teaching is a place for everything. . My granddaughter likes to tidy up, so she spends as much time putting her teethers in and out of the storage box as she does playing with her teethers. This will make a great gift and I recommend it. . I think $24 including the little phone is a good deal. The seller also sells a version without the phone but with two additional teethers (for a total of 10 teethers) for just $2 less. I think the best value is the one with the phone.
