Review on Vacuum Fix FBA_AH21606 38528 033 Windtunnel by Barbara Lopes

Got my straps in the mail today (for my Hoover Tempo handheld vacuum 38528-033 in bag). I found the broken original belt and compared it to the ones I just received from Revain. New belts are much smaller than the original belt. I just put the strap on and it felt very tight when putting it on and I managed to put it on after a lot of arm strength. turned on the vacuum cleaner, it worked 1 second, clicked, and now my apartment smells like burnt rubber. I read other reviews where they had the same experience. After ordering the same part directly from Hoover, the belt grew and worked great for them. Is this a production mess? I want my $ returned.
