I bought this for my refurbished Ps4 because it was clear the internal fan was running too hard and would overheat if I didn't point the box fan at it. I put my ps4 on this stand and it seemed to do the job. However, I soon found that the games wouldn't run - I kept saying "Error: Disc could not be read". I was concerned that since this is a refurbished system I might encounter a faulty drive. However, I did notice that the stand doesn't quite hold the Ps4 at a 90 degree angle - more like an 80 or 85 degree angle (e.g. leaning forward when it's going the same direction would be wrong hereabouts). So I put the system on its side and voila, the games are working fine again. The stand is now wedged between the Ps4 and a small bookshelf to still do its job when the Ps4 is on its side. It only gets two stars because the fans in it at least work, albeit weakly. also, but in the current positioning this function is no longer available to me.
