I received this jug and noticed a strong chemical smell. I washed it and thought everything would be fine. Tea was impossible to drink. I washed it again and still had the same smell/taste. I ended up washing it 5 times before it ruined the tea. After the 3rd wash I didn't feel anything until I brewed the tea and put it in the container. I love the pitcher as I've had this design in the past and it really saves space in my fridge but they need to find a better method of making them. **Update I thought the smell/taste was gone, I washed it again and it's still there, I'm requesting a refund. Don't buy this!
