I mount the speaker in the bracket with the speakers facing me and not the power button facing me. I also adjusted the mount so the speaker is pointed at me at an angle of maybe 45 degrees. On my first ride, the speaker almost fell out twice, I caught it just as it was about to fall. If you adjust so that the speaker is vertical, won't it fall out? I also wrapped the steering wheel several times with insulating tape so that the holder gets stuck, it's made of hard plastic. Even then it can turn down. When I tried to tighten the thumbscrew, the plastic threads in the mount stripped.
