Review on ⚖️ Ozeri Touch Professional Digital Kitchen Scale (12 lbs Edition): Sleek Tempered Glass in Elegant Black, Precise and Practical by Michelle Doebke

The most disgusting scale I've ever had.

I use a kitchen scale a lot for baking and weighing food / tracking calories and macros. There are a few annoying things about these scales compared to others (in this price range) I've had that make me want to buy another one. 1) The tare function is annoying and laggy - you have to press it properly the way it works and then it takes a few seconds to reset. 2) The scale still turns off even if the number changes, e.g. B. the auto-off function is ONLY based on time, not time AND the weight is static. For example, on other scales I've had, the scale stays on indefinitely if you're still adding and removing weight and the weight doesn't stay static for a set period of time. While I'm baking this is handy because you can leave your bowl on the scale and add the ingredients, but with these special scales you turn around for a second and they turn off and I just lose the weight I was on because they were already flipped. within the set time. This has happened before when eating. Sometimes I'll put a container of something like hummus on the scale, hit tare, and then use a negative number to indicate how much I've eaten. Again, all other scales stay on as the weight isn't static, but those scales are off and I'm losing the numbers. 3) not sensitive enough. Again, I've had scales in this price range with better sensitivity, so I don't feel like I'm expecting too much from this scale. Libra doesn't even want to discover a teaspoon of anything. Or, even worse, it detects the weight and then returns to zero as if you didn't put anything on it. a piece of fruit or meat or something. It definitely doesn't meet the needs of those who love gram accuracy. I want it to show 1/10 gram as well/:

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • I'm worried about this
