I had an earlier model and this one sounds both better and louder. The sound effects on this one were "rounded out" and better than the old one. I love Pyle gear (I've used their amps before) and this is no exception. Well done, well described, great item. what you don't like (By the way, the only reason I'm replacing my old one is because it was stolen). Personally, I don't need a grip, but the addition of a flashlight is nice. As already mentioned, the Bluetooth range is decent. But where it really shines is in the bass. For a small mono speaker this is very impressive, I can feel the frame of my longtail cargo bike vibrating when I use it. Three thumbs up!
