I like to just put them on with the 2 easy velcro straps. BUT the insole is very cheap, the front toe strap pinches a kid's toe and I don't have wide feet. The buckle next to the kids sock is awkward when it hits the toe while walking, even if you loosen the front strap it still hurts. After a few hours I realized that they are definitely not for hiking or anything, but maybe watering flowers in the garden or taking out the garbage. These are house sandals. I don't go far from home in them. Lacks comfort, especially for the price, quality is like $10 souvenir beach flip flops. I wouldn't buy them again.
