Review on Bissell PowerFresh Steam Mop Water Tank: Replaceable Cap & Insert (2038412) by Sherry Peterson

Perfect replacement part for my 1940 Bissell but Bissell should redesign this part. This is the second time I've had to replace it. As many others have said in the reviews, the black part that you bolt onto the tank is poorly designed. The problem has nothing to do with the threads of the cap. The lid breaks when the water tank is pulled out. I do this CAREFULLY as this has happened twice with 3 uses of each cap. Bissell sells this on their website but I think it should be a free replacement as many people have had the same issue. You will also need to change the way the pads attach to the car as the pads keep falling off. Now I use a piece of metal wire to hold the pillow when I use the car.
