Review on Vuarnet VL1105 Sunglasses Carbone PX3000 by Richard Jarvis

Wow! This is the real deal: Vuarnet Skilynx PX3000 Mineral Glass Lenses

I see people excited about wearing Vuarnet sunglasses 'for 35 years' and the like. I bought my first Vuarnet "Nautilux" sunglasses (PX8000) in late 1975 and wore them during the 8.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Mexico City in September 1976. That makes them over 45 years old. Look at the picture, they still look great but are starting to show their age. They still look good, but I've replaced them with these technically superior class 3 PX3000 lenses in modern VL ("Legends") style - their "new Skilynx gray lenses". The lenses are basically the same, but Nautilux has blue caps on the top and bottom and this pair of Skilynx's are silver on the top and bottom. You just can't buy better lenses! They are outstanding and surpass anything I have seen including several models from other high end manufacturers that cost $250-$300 and up I can't get better sunglasses! I will wear them when I die.
