I have been a locksmith for over 25 years and a carpenter for many years. I know a lot about speeds, feeds and depths of cut. This bit broke on the second groove I used it on. Freud is a brand I have trusted in the past but was very disappointed with. I'd say it's 0.250 exactly and that's the best I can say about him.
