We used a Propur/ProOne jug in our kitchen and we really liked it. I wanted something for our upstairs bathroom and for traveling. I've had the Grayl for two years now and initially liked it but the more I used it the more I hated taking it apart over time. I think I'm weak, but I found this travel version of ProOne and I'm really enjoying it so far. You'll have to remove the top half and set it aside to pour water from the bottom, but otherwise it's almost as easy as our pitcher. To fold, empty the upper tank and flip it over to fit the lower one. If it's still wet, technically you're drawing drops of unfiltered water into the filtered tank unless you've dried it first; so some planning would be involved. I'm testing it out at home right now, but so far this is my favorite compact filter I've found.
