I used this to run a thick BNC cable across my office floor. The color is more grey-brown, just what I wanted. Looks great on brown/grey floors. installation instructions. Cut the cable strip beforehand to make installation easier. Make sure your surface is absolutely clean and dry. Use an alcohol swab on the back of the cable tie before applying tape. I applied the glue bit by bit to ensure a perfectly straight line. Be sure to press firmly on the strip glued to the floor to ensure full adhesion. Final Note: This product initially has a strong rubber/vinyl odor. It wears off after about a weak one. You may encounter some difficulties in curling. You can bend it back a little to adjust, and after it's applied to the floor, it will eventually flatten out. If you have the time and space I would suggest rolling it out and putting a light weight on the end to smooth out throughout the day before applying.
