The old adage "You get what you pay for " applies to these trousers.

When it comes to cheap goods from a Chinese manufacturer, there is always a risk with the quality of the product. Pants I The pants I received appear to be very good for seams and flatness but I must caution anyone who thinks they are getting great safety pants at a bargain price. These jeans are denim, but it's a very thin layer that gets eaten up almost immediately when you spin. There's also a mesh area on the front of each leg above the knee, which is great for keeping you cool, but not as good as skinny jeans in terms of protection. Because of the mesh panels, your feet will get wet very quickly in rainwater, so these pants are far from being weatherproof. Protective insoles are foam/sponge which is better than nothing. There are no instructions on how/where to put the protective pad, but trial and error is easy to guess. it is chinese Read the size chart in the description and proceed. These trousers have a tailored/straight cut and are a bit tight. I wear a waist size of 30 to 32 and deliberately chose a size larger (30M) so that the pants are not so tight on my legs. The length is a little longer than what people usually expect from US sizes. I would call a size 30M length 34 making it a size 32/34 (waist/length). If they are too long, just fold the bottom. I did and they matched my boots perfectly. All in all, these pants are probably worth their price. I would only count on them for protection if you're driving locally in urban or suburban areas and with speed bumps. If you drive long distances on the highway at high speeds, these pants are not for you. If you're racing at high speeds in traffic on a street bike, these pants aren't for you. Save until you get a $600 pair of pants that will actually save you from death or amputation. However, if you are new to racing and want to ride safely and need some beginner safety gear then these pants are for you. Remember: you get what you pay for.
