The concept may be great, but the sphere that the GPS is attached to is too small for my GPS, causing the screen to fall to the ground. I measure the diameter of my window mount ball and the one that came with the friction mount. My window mount is 17.21mm. The size of the plain bearing ball is 16.56 mm. That's a difference of almost 0.75mm, it may not sound like much, but it's the difference between a tie staying where you're pointing and where you're pointing, or pointing to the ground after a few seconds of movement . I've only read about a few customers with a similar problem, so I'm guessing it's not widespread or people are more tolerant than me.
