I really wanted a black suede version, but the delivery time was longer, so I opted for black smooth faux leather. I usually wear a size 7.5-8 shoes and chose a size 8 to accommodate my large right foot. My first thought when trying them on was that they are nice and narrow in the bead area. I have narrow legs. The left boot feels good although the length is longer than I would like. The right boot is ok in length, possibly longer than I would have liked. However, the toe of the right boot puts a lot of pressure on the big toe of the right foot. Painful. The toe is very flat and gets bigger the closer you get to the tip. I would like a size 7.5 in width. I think this would solve the problem of left toe too long and right toe too flat.
