When they arrived I was so happy that my little guy would have an army suit like big brother had for his "Ken" doll. I took off the doll, put on a shirt, started putting on pants and couldn't get my small waist under his calves. No kidding, they don't fit. Neither trousers nor shorts fit. Half of the t-shirts fit, the rest are too small. Since my sister has an army of ladies, I decided to order another ken. The original 1961 Beach Ken recently came out in a darker skin tone to match my son's skin tone, he didn't look as muscular as the one we had (which I found out was a "fashion buff"), so i ordered it. . Now I have the opposite problem! All PANTS fit, but most SHIRTS are too big! How MUCH too big! lol. Luckily my twins are 7 and think it's funny so have a lot of fun with it. This weekend I'll redo the tops (mostly side view and shorten the length a bit) and then Beach Ken will have a good wardrobe. Luckily the shoes fit both men and I can make something of our own out of our big Ken. At least he has shoes! I would say the finish is ok although the size is not true to size. So if you have Ken with a skinny build, this should be fine. Big shirts really aren't a problem if you have small children with small hands or children with dexterity problems (which we have). But if the dimensions don't fit, a few stitches in the side seams will do the trick. Then the Velcro is well fixed, all edges are finished, but not necessarily hemmed (partially swollen). So for the money I recommend. But pay attention to the physique of YOUR Ken or the person you want to give it to, otherwise you might be disappointed. As for Barbie herself, most pants fit her, although some are a bit baggy at the hips. Shirts are large but roll up the sleeves for a great coat/jacket. And no, the shoes don't match Barbie and we have three colors: brown, gray, blue.
