I hesitated to buy this item as I got burned by a similar OBDII reader a few years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product works great, connects to my phone with no issues, is actually recognized and is 100% fully supported by Torque Pro. Initially I had some difficulties connecting the reader to my phone. If you experience this, connect the device while your vehicle's ignition is ON (or in the accessory position) but NOT STARTED. This fixed the problem immediately and now the product is working great. Different makes/models of vehicle may function differently; I have a 2019 Ford Fiesta. You're jealous. Anyway, this reader works 100% for codes and live data. Once I learned the pairing trick (which I might have known if I hadn't thrown away the instructions), I had no problems at all. Highly recommended. FYI: Some OBDII readers like this one share a common MAC address like 11:22:33:44. This works great if you only have ONE reader. If you want to use multiple readers in multiple vehicles, your phone may confuse those readers. THIS reader has a truly unique MAC address, allowing multiple readers to be used at the same time. If you don't understand any of this, don't worry - just know that this is the 'good' version among similar OBDII readers out there.
