They are great for washing your face with detergent and also with water. The texture is a little softer and "furrier" than a washcloth, and the size (4" diameter as listed) plus a finger pocket make it an easier and more effective option than a washcloth, I think. Especially if you use it regularly washing off heavier products like makeup, sunscreen, etc. However, I actually bought these with the intention of using them with a micellar cleanser and toner and they have exceeded my expectations, they are nice and thick and absorb a lot of liquid so I don't have to rub half my face with a tiny cotton ball or a crushed cotton swab!The laundry bag is a nice bonus and the pads have so far withstood a few rounds in the washer and dryer with no problems.I don't use fabric softener/tumble dryer sheets with them because I... don't want to compromise their absorbency or texture like I do with towels they seem well made (tight, even seams and no divergence) so I expect to be able to use them with 12 in a row for quite a while.
