I bought this to replace the DVR that came with my KGuard security system. I've had this DVR for three years but have never been able to get the live feed to work so I can always look at my phone and see what's going on. It also detected motion and sent me an image, but about 60% of the images contained nothing. It sent an image that didn't show what triggered the motion detection. This one sends a batch of 3 images always showing what it's called. Anyway, I installed a 500GB SSD that doesn't make any noise at all, which is nice since I keep it in my bedroom. I hooked up existing cameras and within 15 minutes I was up and running and was even able to access the live stream with ease. The menus are very easy to use. Yesterday I logged in and accessed the hard drive and the playback function was also very good! Very happy with it so far!
