Review on Fanola Yellow Shampoo Nutri Conditioner by Elizabeth Glover

This shampoo does exactly what it's supposed to do!

Blonde hair is a challenge when you're naturally darker in color. Many of the reviews given for this product were written by ladies who know little about how Blonde/Purple Shampoo works. Comments saying it turned her hair bluish/crimson and leaving negative reviews is because there is no education behind the way purple and blonde work together. Dry hair after using this product is also amazing. Who would have thought that by bleaching your hair and maintaining a color that isn't natural to your color, you wouldn't dry out your hair? There is a double-edged sword here. You want light blonde hair, here are some things to keep in mind when using purple shampoo. 1. The opposite of blonde is purple, so shampoo will help lighten your dull blonde. It's not uncommon for your hair to have shades of purple for the first time. Wash off the second or third time. 2. You use purple shampoo to remove brass stitches from your hair. It's not uncommon for your hair to get a little dry when you rinse out your shampoo. Your hair will return to normal after the second or third wash. 3- Use purple shampoo every 3 or 4 times you wash your hair. Don't count on it as your daily shampoo. The more you use it, the drier your hair becomes. The product does exactly what it is supposed to do if you use it correctly. I shampooed dry hair and let it sit for 10 minutes, then washed and applied conditioner. This will help lighten the hair (and give it a purple pigment as it should) without diluting the shampoo with water. I was striving for a lighter look. It also helps if you wash your hair in the shower for a minute, but be aware that as you add water, the shampoo will dilute, meaning it won't highlight beauty as much as you'd like. The product does exactly what it is intended to do. So if you feel the need to complain about the product turning your hair blue/purple or drying it out, blonde might not be the color option you should continue to support. Beauty comes at a price, so find out!
