Sony makes a pretty crappy portable CD player. I got one for Christmas a year and a half ago, and it might as well be dead. I feel very good about it, but somehow :A.) It jumps excessively B.) The right side of the headphone doesn't work C.) Can't read the disc half the time D.) Even if I put in a BRAND NEW CD, and the drive doesn't work, don't knock it STILL jumps. E.) I'm listening to a CD and sometimes the CD player just stops for no reason (fresh batteries mind you) and A LOT happens! While it has some good points, it has GREAT battery life and the sound was good while it was running. If I were you I would stay away from this brand, another brand to avoid is RCA. Try Philips Magnavox, they work VERY well.
