Bought to clean the litter box. Does he pick up garbage? Yes. Hair? Yes. Other things? Yes. However, the suction power is not enough to actually remove the dirt; You need to clean it and free it completely and just vacuum the resulting pile. Finally, the filter does not capture ultrafine particles. I can smell kitty litter from the exhaust pipe. This doesn't happen with my regular home vacuum (Bissel, $70 at Walton's Big Box Store). I'm a little unhappy that this filter isn't that good. My thoughts here are that the engine is weak, they couldn't put in a good filter because the engine can't pump enough air.
