Okay I rarely write reviews but I felt the need to help anyone who has doubts about buying these shorts. My child is about 5ft 3in tall, slim but not skinny. The size 16 pants are a little loose on him, but he likes them. Little skater. loose, but they have room inside to grow and adjust. They are the perfect length just below the knee. I hope this helps moms and dads to think about the size and if it will fit your child.
