Very good backpack, but not without flaws.

This is a very well made, durable, unobtrusive hard shell backpack that is ideal for horseback riding. I use it every day even when I'm not riding. After about a month of use, I noticed a few things that could be improved. 1. The chest buckle is a very small and fragile looking part. I suppose a small buckle is good in the sense that you don't want anything uncomfortable when riding. At the same time, however, I could see that the buckle came loose or broke fairly easily. And once the chest buckle breaks I can't use it for riding anymore because it just slips off my shoulders. It hasn't happened yet and probably never will, but it doesn't look very permanent in my opinion.2. buckle at the waist. The buckle is on the right side of the backpack. So if you are wearing a riding jacket with extra volume on the arms it will be difficult to get the buckle in place. You need to pull the strap to the right, turn your body to the left, and align the buckle in the middle, allowing your hands to move enough to lock it. There's really no way to customize this. Those two issues aside, I think this pack is perfect for riding. Unfortunately, this is not the case when designing buckles, which ironically are one of the key components of riding backpacks.
