Great scratching post and ramp
My cat doesn't use it as a ramp - he has a ladder for that but I bought him this so he can scratch and reach. He has cardboard scratching posts and really loves them but used 3 times and they are all broken. My cat has progressive arthritis so she needs to be able to scratch and stretch comfortably - and this thing does it. It's durable, the material keeps its claws stable but won't fall apart after use. It's hard - my cat loves piglets and even when he digs properly in the pad he doesn't move. To assemble: open the box, take out the scratching post/ramp, sprinkle with catnip, done.
