Varies greatly. I stepped on him three times in an hour and that gave me a reach of 18 pounds. When I finally got him down to his final weight last night, I found that he had overestimated my weight by 11 pounds at this morning's health check. I assume this will work if you have literally no idea how much you weigh, but if you're looking for progress reports on diet and exercise, this is a terrible choice for the scale. Looks nice and the instructions were easy but the zoom function is too imprecise.
