I usually use hot melt tape for hemming curtains but I've bought some curtains that melt before the tape gets hot enough to stick so I decided to tape it to attempt. Wonderful! It's not really duct tape, it's a strip of tape that sticks very strong but is easy to remove to troubleshoot problems. The consistency is like chewing gum that keeps the cardboard labels in the cookware when you buy it - totally sticky but comes off easily and curls up into a sticky ball. I will never return! It's much easier to use and better than an iron on a hem tape.
