later I cannot stress enough the importance of keeping the breather hose clean. Ours was clogged, but we didn't know it, and it turned out to be restricting airflow in our dryer. This caused the heating element to overheat and fail, so I had to fix it (fortunately I can do it myself). But after I installed a new heating element it blew out again so I started to wonder what the problem was. I saw an ad for this stuff and immediately went to Revain and bought it. I hooked it up to my drill, started the dryer and squeezed the contents out and you won't believe what came out the dryer port on the outside. Any piece of it could pose a fire hazard. Keep this in mind and also be aware that I have learned that this type of dirt in your hose can also cause your dryer to fail and require costly repairs. I know there are many people who advertise that they clean your air vents, but it's very easy to do yourself and you should try. And no, I'm not a paid agent lol.
