This is one of my favorite Christmas gifts! I missed the heated steering wheel and on a whim decided to google it to see if they were available. I love to keep my hands warm while driving and they are so wonderfully soft I was really impressed with the quality. Installation is difficult and probably best for two people, my son and I managed it, once installed it stays in place. There is a cable that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Make sure you don't have power from the cigarette lighter all the time or you could destroy your battery. Otherwise, remember to turn it off when not in use. When manoeuvring, e.g. B. In tight corners, parking where you turn the steering wheel, or just reversing and turning in the driveway, you may turn the steering wheel a few times and in that case the connector on the steering wheel cover itself will disconnect. Not a huge issue given all the good stuff, but it can be an amazing hold. However, I think it's a great security measure. I bought this for my son and daughter and wouldn't do it if I felt it compromised their safety. Most days I wait until I'm out of my driveway before plugging it in. My son mentioned during the long drive that he had to turn it off because it got so hot. Every day so far I've absolutely loved it. Worth the price.
