Review on πŸ”’ Puj Treads (Rings): Stylish and Secure Tire Traction for Your Vehicle by Mike Quade

They don't stick well, but with improved techniques, they can be made to work.

About a third of these will come off the first time you get wet if you follow the usual instructions. Instead, follow these steps: Clean the tub. Clean it again and then use Windex to clean it again. Then use STRONG high grade denatured alcohol or even pure acetone on polish baths (not nail polish remover!) to completely and brutally degrease the surface. Then. Lay them down very gently and apply a lot of pressure. THEN heat with a very hot hair dryer until browned and press down a little more. REALLY squeeze them in every spot, especially around the edges. Then leave them for a day or two. High temperatures and extreme cleaning will go a long way. The ones that came off on me were actually rinsed with water, dried and reapplied using the high temperature technique outlined above. But the most important thing is to CLEAN EVERYTHING to lab quality. Otherwise you're just wasting money.
