Exactly what I needed.

I cook a lot for my family and food safety is very important to me. I used analog (an old pointer meat thermometer) and had to keep checking and rechecking even when I knew the meat was done. So I finally got fed up and grabbed it. I've been using it for a week now and it works with everything I need. Very oriental to use and read and the light is a nice touch.
