Great trays for ice cream lovers

I'm a bit of an ice cream addict. I tend to walk through a lot of ice, about 3.5 pounds of ice a day. If ice is floating in my drink, it means there isn't enough ice in it! I figured I could reduce the $20+ a month I spend on ice packs with a few large ice cubes. After reading too many reviews I ordered two sets, one 2" and one 2.25". Both were exceptional, no smell/color/particles in the ice. I soaked all the bowls in water for about an hour and then rinsed them thoroughly (on all sides) before using them for the first time. This has reduced my ice use from two ice packs a week to one (since I still need small ice cubes in bags to fill the gaps in a large glass), meaning those trays should pay for themselves in six months or less (including the cost of purchasing filtered water for ice making). Tips: Instead of frantically bending trays, hitting them, pouring water on them, or similar antics, I've found a better way to de-ice. It's as simple as putting the trays on the counter twenty minutes before using the ice cream. They melt *enough* to be easily removed. After I take out one cube, I put the rest in the fridge, not the freezer - they melt *very* slowly but are easy to get by at the end of the evening. Even with my admittedly excessive ice intake, I found all four bowls lasted an entire night, usually with a few leftover ice cubes. (Ever left a product review on this page), they asked me to rate 'Easy To Remove', 'Warm' and 'Transparency'. Easy to remove logical and self explanatory but I have no idea what "warm" or "clear" means in relation to ice cube molds.
