Review on 🌬️ Casablanca Wisp Indoor Ceiling Fan: LED Light & Remote Control by Ahmed Jackson

I love looking at this fan but the price seems overpriced for what you get. As many say, the blades are made of plastic. It's not good plastic, just plastic, like cheap toy plastic. I think when it goes up and spins it doesn't matter except they seem to be different weights because the fan shakes like a dog walking past a peach pit until I balance the fan (no fun. Takes a lot of time and lots of guessing). I have it in the master bedroom. The light isn't as bright as my old fan with regular bulbs in a frosted aquarium under the fan. This is a slightly bright white light for the laundry room more than the bedroom. As another reviewer mentioned, it's not a replacement bulb, it's an LED panel. When you assemble it you look at it and think "weird" but it seems to work. The fan blades produce real noise at higher speeds. At a high level, I thought I was back in the country with a happy green giant ready to sit in my bedroom. You'll hear that squeak like a chopper knife at 4. In 3rd gear you'll hear a little of it, but that's normal. It really makes for a nice breeze at the end of the day. If I could do it again, I would take a different fan. UPDATE: A little over four years since I hung it and it's making an awful noise. It looks like the bearing is coming loose. With limited use, it took me a little over 4 years. The one he replaced was Emerson, now in another room, 25 years old and still working with the occasional ticking noise.
