First year for me doing container gardening. I bought spinach seeds which promptly grew then bolted :( HOWEVER, this lettuce variety has done amazingly well. Tons of variety in individual named bags. I just pinched some out of several bags, put it on my planting mix, then covered up and watered. I had heard sometimes lettuce doesn't grow well in dead of summer but wanted to try anyway. They grew so quickly! And have survived nearly negligent care from me. and wild swings between oppressive heat and super heavy rain. No bolting so far, just a wonderful patch of lettuce that I can clip my salad from right on my deck. These keep growing back and I still have tons of seeds left too. Will definitely buy again! ♡ p.s. the only thing that would make it better is if there were pics on the seed bags. I had to google the names to see what I'd be getting.
