This strap is much more comfortable than the silicone strap that comes with the watch. In any case, it is better to keep the watch on your wrist for collecting indicators. No more rashes on a Garmin strap. I've had it for a few weeks now and the black finish on the metal parts seems very durable with no scratches. This was my main concern when purchasing this harness and it was unfounded. Some of the competing products have had bad reviews due to the spring bars that come with them, the spring bars with this one look identical to the original to me. They were very easy to attach and didn't accidentally come off. There is a spare part in the package but I doubt I'll ever need it. The product came in a box of the right size, nicely packaged where you could clearly see all the parts. All in all, great job. If you have a Garmin watch I would recommend getting a new strap from this supplier even if the old one hasn't failed yet. Your wrist will appreciate it.
