Wouldn't recommend. It smells very bad - plastic brought from abroad or rubber. I tried airing it out on the patio for a week, but that didn't help. I ended up putting the bag inside to hide the smell but now the bag is used in my work. I'm updating this now to say I wouldn't recommend it to any serious knitter or crocheter, even unscented. Despite the fact that the bag is roomy inside, they only added a zipper on one side to open access to the inside. This means you only have one zippered compartment to slide your work through, when you are traveling or moving from one room to another. For example, if you're working on a quilt that needs more storage, you run the risk of your work getting caught in the zipper because you're sliding it through a slit that's closed on three sides. It would be much better if the zipper opened on 3 sides to reveal the top, but that way I think it's too risky of ruining our work if only one side opens.
