If you take the time to look at my past reviews, you will find that I am a shaving lover. I have purchased and used a variety of shaving products over the years. I shave my head every day, so I appreciate a good shave. The downside to my shaving routine is the lack of durability of today's high-end disposable razors. I prefer the Schick Hydro 5 razor. It gives me the best shave and lasts a decent two weeks. Well, with the Razor Saver he was able to shave his head for 4.5 weeks! I was so impressed that I ended up spending some money on the overpriced Gillette Pro-Glide. Yes, I got 4 weeks from one of these too! In fact, the lube strip is completely white (meaning it needs to be replaced), yet on me it's so sharp it literally "squeaks" when I shave my scalp with American Crew Shaving Oil or King of Shaves Gel. I need to put these large header blades on the RS, in the opposite direction than the picture shows. My razor handle is on the right side, if that makes sense. Still works very well. I will say that after sharpening the Razor Saver's blades, I use the forward maneuver to dry the blades on a dry towel. Overall, the Razor Saver makes shaving much more economical with today's best, but also most expensive, razors. The Razor Saver pays for itself quickly.
